Creating a Culture for Low-Carbon Innovation Adoption: A Case Study of Boots UK

As part of my master’s degree in Corporate Social Responsibility at the University of Nottingham, I completed a dissertation titled “Creating a Culture for Low-Carbon Innovation Adoption: A Case Study of Boots UK”.

Basically I studied the communication and attitudes around energy-saving measures at the UK’s leading health and beauty retailer. Working closely with Boots’ CSR team, I interviewed and surveyed both retail and home-office employees to understand the culture around the company’s energy-saving measures. Based on my findings, I offered recommendations for the company’s ongoing employee engagement efforts. 

The full report is about 170 pages and not exactly a ‘beach read’, but here’s a presentation I delivered to the Boots CSR team, as well as a written summary of the study:
